A unique log home community in the woods of Maine. Vacation/get-a-way cabins for sale. (Sorry, no rentals available)

Big Woods: Just think of it, your own wood lot and log home in a state-park style setting near a river in the woods of Maine to "get away" to. Located in the beautiful town of Harrison, and adjacent to thousands of acres of undeveloped forest, Big Woods is less than 3 hours from Boston. Big Woods is located in a very private, quiet, heavily wooded area but it is within easy reach of many recreational opportunities. One drive down Big Woods Road and you'll know you've found the perfect get-a-way.

Crooked River runs from Songo Pond in Bethel to the Songo River in Naples and into Sebago Lake and is well known to canoeists and fishermen. The beautiful 17 acre Big Woods common area has 1700 feet on Crooked River, which includes a small beach. You could actually canoe your way from Big Woods directly into Big Sebago Lake.

Harrison (The Friendly Village) is conveniently located about half way between the Atlantic Ocean and the White Mountains. Also, the Naples Causeway, with its many attractions is only a short drive from Big Woods.
